The Figs Byron Wedding

Oonagh & Keelan’s The Figs Byron wedding was an absolute cracker!  Firstly, these two are downright lovely; from the moment I arrived in the morning, I felt like I was a guest at the wedding.  Oonagh & Keelan are Irish and due to the spicy cough (Corona) have had to make 4 changes to their wedding date and venue.  And even when things were all locked in and confirmed, just 4 weeks before the big day they had to make 1 final change to the venue!

Everything happens for a reason and they managed to book The Figs Byron.  This was the first time I’ve photographed at this property, and hopefully not the last!  It has everything you need for a beautiful wedding.  A gorgeous ceremony spot underneath a beautiful fig tree, plenty of space for a marquee, a gazebo for a dance floor and it has 3 units and a  pool!

The Figs Byron Bay

This was by far one of the most fun weddings I’ve been a part of.  Everyone was there for a big celebration now that these two were finally getting married!  Brad from Scradley Beats was on point with the music and with restrictions lifted, the dance floor was in full swing all night long! I was pretty happy to be back on the dance floor as well! Beer in one hand and camera in the other… I reckon getting in and amongst it makes for better images!
