Brooke & Breagan's Stunning Yamba Wedding

Brooke and Breagan’s Yamba wedding was a great way to finish the year.  A story that everyone is familiar with by now, they were planning on getting married earlier in the year and then good old corona had other ideas.  After two postponements, and 100 people cut from the guest list, they decided to get married in Yamba over the Christmas holidays with their closest family.

These guys holiday in Yamba every year and stay at the popular Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort.  Brooke was as relaxed a bride as I’ve seen, with champagne flowing and laughter all morning.  Jenn from Jennaration Hair & Beauty was there for hair and makeup and Brooke was blown away with her results.

Down the road in Breagan’s cabin, things were also calm and relaxed.  Breagan wore an outstanding 3 piece suit, complete with pocket watch - very Peaky Blinders.  There were a few drinks and lots of laughter with his mum and dad before heading off to the ceremony.

YAMBA WEDDING VENUE

These guys chose the rocks at Turners Beach for their intimate ceremony and Yamba really turned on the weather.  The ceremony was short and sweet, and you could see the relief in the couple’s face when it was over.  After the year of 2020 and the two postponements, they’d finally married in Yamba, on the last day of the year.

During the ceremony Brooke’s niece and nephew kept fixing up her dress which was incredibly cute.  Her niece is only 2 😊.

If you’re looking for a Yamba wedding venue, then Turners Beach is perfect for a smaller group of less than 30 people - just be sure to check what the tide is doing at your ceremony time!

After the ceremony, the champagne was opened and it was time to celebrate.

Brooke and Breagan are not the stand and stare-at-the-camera-for-hours type of people which suits me perfectly.  We spent about 30 minutes wandering around the beach and the rocks and I took some nice photos of them hanging out.

Brooke wore a stunning Grace Loves Lace dress and although this wasn’t a trash the dress session, by the end of the day it was full of sand, water, sticks and leaves!

This beautiful little Yamba wedding on the last day of 2020 was the perfect way to end the year.
