Tooraloo Farm Wedding

Lauren and Daniel’s Tooraloo Farm Wedding in Byron Bay was incredible to be a part of. An amazing venue, awesome people, plenty of drinks and questionable dance moves lasted well into the night. Check out all the details and photos below, as well as a special video I made for them.

Tooraloo Farm Stay Wedding

When Lauren and Daniel contacted me about photographing their wedding at Tooraloo Farm Stay, I was more than a bit excited. I mean, every venue has its own unique touches and beauty, but Tooraloo Farm Stay has that little extra something special that gets a wedding photographer excited! I was humbled and very happy to have been invited to be part of this special couple’s day.

Lauren and Daniel, like many couples in 2020, had made the difficult decision earlier in the year to postpone their day. As fortune would have it, they chose a date in late 2020 that aligned with restrictions being relaxed. This meant the number of guests they were allowed ensured they could invite plenty of friends and family. Plus, this wedding venue has plenty of space!

Byron Bay Wedding Photographer

Many of my clients love having their wedding photographer around all day - from the morning when the ladies are getting ready, all day until the dance floor is cranking (which it certainly was on this occasion - photos below!). Having their wedding in one venue - Tooraloo Farm Stay - meant everything was simple. We (my wife, who came along as second photographer) and I arrived mid morning, with plenty of time to capture details around the farm, as well as everyone getting ready in their respective cottages.

Lauren was quite possibly the calmest bride you could ever meet. She was so relaxed from start to finish. Dan was a tad nervous and stressed, but all of that was forgotten as he waited under the Fig Tree for Lauren to arrive.

Byron Bay Hinterland Wedding

Tooraloo Farm as a wedding venue didn’t disappoint. It’s just as beautiful as the images you see - even more so. Everywhere you look are picturesque vistas, quaint nooks and crannies, wild natural beauty. The layout of the venue is well suited to weddings - with several cottages, outdoor covered areas and the magnificent fig trees at the centre, there are plenty of spaces in which to stay, get ready, mingle, and get married!

If you’re looking for a Byron Bay hinterland wedding venue, or even a Bangalow wedding venue, Tooraloo Farm Stay is a wonderful choice and worth checking out. It has at least 10 bedrooms spread across different dwellings on the property, plenty of space and even a pool. Plus it’s BYO! Check out their website here and the Airbnb listing here.

If you’re getting married at Tooraloo Farm or any other Bangalow wedding venue and you’re looking for a photographer that takes natural, candid images then I’d love to chat to you! You can contact me here.
